Introduction to the Etruscan World

During the summer the Country Communication Centre offers an Initiation
to the Etruscan world , hospitality , and excursions in the important
archaeological area of Populonia and the Bay of Baratti.




The Etruscan culture has always been a source of inspiration due to their joy of living
and above all their communication with Nature, themselves and others.

The women were freely admitted.




The Etruscan women possessed considerable social standing as Velcha (left) and Larthia (right).
They enjoyed considerable freedom and were involved in creating nice textile manufacturesof Flax and Hemp.
